Binge drinking can lead to serious consequences including health risks, social stigmatism and even criminal behaviour. But many young Nova Scotians are not aware of the harm that can come from losing control.

Engaging a young audience with any kind of message is challenging, but getting an anti-binge drinking message to stick is even more challenging. Revolve's goal with NSLC's 2008 social responsibility initiative was to demonstrate the social side effects of binge drinking without preaching consequences.

Enter Jonzed, a short film about a guy whose night of binging just keeps going from bad to worse. No 30-second TV ads, no big traditional media buy, just an engaging short film promoted online through Facebook and YouTube as well as at university campuses, in NSLC locations and in movie theatres as a coming attraction soon to be playing at Jonzed.com

Launched September 22nd as a teaser campaign in advance of the October 1st full release of the film on Jonzed.com, the Jonzed Facebook group had already attracted over 5000 people in the first three days and Revolve's non-traditional approach to engaging and informing Nova Scotians is once again creating a buzz.
