Revolve and the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation have once again teamed up to deliver a strong anti-drinking and driving message this holiday season. But this year, it’s coming from an unexpected messenger – your car. Because, we love unexpected.
Tipsy Rides brings cars to life, humorously portraying them as the automotive embodiment of their “tipsy” drivers. We put vehicles in the middle of the conversations and behaviours that are so typical when people have had a few drinks, inhibitions are relaxed and good judgement is no longer so good.
The campaign features two TV spots, one starring a lady car who clearly has her beer goggles on as she eyeballs a dilapidated pickup truck that she sees as a hunk. The second spot features two dude cars having the classic tipsy “I love you man conversation.”
Both spots pay off with a simple message – “If you’ve had a few, your car has too”, while encouraging people to park it and plan ahead to get home safely.
