As Nova Scotia’s largest single banner retailer, the NSLC is committed to the well-being of this province and the people who live here.
Each Earth Day, the NSLC takes on an environmental initiative and engages customers to do a little something for our planet. With every purchase at the NSLC, customers receive a branded seedling package, designed by Revolve. The message is simple: plant a tree with the NSLC, and keep Nova Scotia beautiful.
In 2010, over 15,000 packages were handed out at NSLC locations all across the province, up from 10,000 in 2009.
This year, Revolve also developed an additional text-to-donate option. For each text, another tree would be planted by the NSLC’s Adopt-a-Stream program. In total, 1,400 more trees were planted, making Nova Scotia a little bit greener and a lot more environmentally conscious.
