RAMAR is the Halifax Regional Municipality’s (HRM) premiere builder of single-family homes. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to enjoy a safe, comfortable home.
There are many homeowners in need who are not in a position to repair or upgrade their homes. But RAMAR recognized that they were in a position to do something about it. RAMAR and Revolve developed the Home Sweeter Home contest to reward one deserving homeowner with a life-changing $100,000 home renovation.
Launching on January 23, homeowners can submit entries on the Home Sweeter Home Facebook page, detailing how the renovation would improve their quality of life. The public can help change someone’s life by voting for their favourite entries starting on February 19. On March 26th, a winner will be chosen from ten finalists by a panel of HRM business leaders. But the contest doesn’t end there. Through photos and updates, the general public can follow the winners and their renovation from start to completion.
