Revolve Helps Set the Stage for Mental Health Foundation Fundraiser

The stars were out in full force on February 17 (or at least the celebrity impersonators were) for the 9th annual A Different Stage of Mind, a fundraising event in support of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.

Once again, high-profile individuals from the Halifax business community transformed into celebrity impersonators to compete against each other, all for fun, entertainment and a great cause. Where else would you see Carole King (Jenna Conter), Queen (Geoff, Andrew and Matthew Machum) and Barbra Streisand (Nancy MacCready-Williams) all in the same room? In addition, Ron Lovett did a stand-up comic routine and a group of forty women – Women for Mental Health – performed a beautiful medley of song and dance.

As the Premiere Sponsor, Revolve is proud to have been part of presenting an evening that has become one of Halifax's hallmark fundraisers. One in five Nova Scotians live with mental health issues, and when you consider family, friends and co-workers, mental health touches every one of us.

Since 2004, this annual event had raised more than $1 million to help change the way people think about mental illness. This year’s event was another smashing success, raising money to fund programs that will provide help and hope to those who need it the most.
