Adsum House has been operating in the Halifax area since 1983 to provide shelter, services and support for women during periods of homelessness. Adsum helps women transition from crisis to stability, but the organization itself relies on support from the community. Because they are funded by private donations, Revolve created a video for Adsum that explains their mission and encourages people to give.
Inspired by the meaning of the word Adsum (‘I am here’), Revolve interviewed four women who have been touched by the organization. We wanted to tell their stories, weaving together a narrative that shows how Adsum has helped them to get where they are now.
The result is a moving video that truly demonstrates how support can change a woman’s life.
