Water Safety 2009
Nova Scotia is a province surrounded by water.
And during our short but glorious summer, Nova Scotians seem to spend as much time near water as possible. There are, however, real risks involved with over-consuming alcohol and acting irresponsibly around water - over 50 percent of all water accidents are alcohol-related.
While it is not illegal to drink alcohol near water, it should be done responsibly. As part of the NSLC's social responsibility efforts, Revolve created a print ad and in-store POS sign that reminds Nova Scotians to enjoy their summer safely.
