In 2015, Revolve redesigned TIMBER MART’s website to give users a much improved experience and to further strengthen the organization’s position as project experts. With more and more traffic arriving via mobile devices and continued expansion into Quebec, we designed the new site to be responsive and 100% bilingual. We also added new sections called Projects & Tips, Building Plans and Inspiration, giving DIYers a wealth of useful information and advice.
We also created a new Featured Products section that acts as an online catalogue with clear calls to action driving visitors into their local store for purchase. And since TIMBER MART is an organization of independent retailers, we created an easy-to-use content management system that allows each store to publish fully customized content.
Do Anything Go Anywhere Contest
With both TIMBER MART and Polaris’ target audiences similar – predominately male do-it-yourselfers in rural Canada - and with significant overlap in markets served, Revolve created a contest between the two brands with $100,000 of off-road vehicles given away to 8 lucky Canadians. The Do Anything Go Anywhere Contest kicked off Canada’s renovation season, increasing traffic to TIMBER MART stores and increasing awareness of Polaris’ incredible off-road lineup.
Revolve provided TIMBER MART and Polaris dealers with turn-key tools to promote the contest in both French and English. From television ads to national online video and display ads, to social media content, email blasts, point-of-sale posters collateral, localized print and radio ads, Revolve ensured the contest was easy for TIMBER MART and Polaris dealers and exciting for customers.
