With the goal of increasing Daikin’s brand awareness in Atlantic Canada, Revolve developed and deployed an integrated media plan designed to deliver over 55 million impressions. TV commercials, direct mail, online ads, Google AdWords and social media ads were all part of the plan, which targeted home improvement intenders in Atlantic Canada.
Daikin is a global HVAC leader, providing advanced air conditioning and heating solutions for residential, commercial and industrial spaces. By developing and executing targeted media strategies and contesting, Revolve helps Daikin stay top of mind in Atlantic Canada.
The campaign’s messaging shifted from cooling in the spring and summer to heating in the fall and winter, ensuring it was always relevant and that it resonated with Atlantic Canadians. As a result of our efforts, Daikin’s Google AdWords campaign received 2.5 times as many clicks as the average campaign, and the brand’s Facebook page grew by 281%.
Stay Cool Contest
The Daikin Stay Cool Contest asked Atlantic Canadians to share the crazy ways they’ve tried to stay cool during summer for their chance to win a heat pump. Designed to create awareness of the Daikin brand and capture attention during one of the busiest seasons of the year, the Stay Cool Contest received over 720 text and photo entries in just 6 weeks.
As well as conceiving the contest and providing creative, Revolve handled all media, including TV, online, social media and direct mail advertising. As a result, Daikin received over 3.6 million impressions and 9,682 clicks to their website during the contest period.
