We started with our proprietary brand DNA discovery, where all four partners had the opportunity to express their passions, goals and values that would guide the business. From this insight, we crafted the brand DNA and brand strategy in which we outlined the brand story, voice, target audience, core differentiators, values, vision, mission and brand promise. The Iron Maple brand came to life.

Next came our design of the brand’s logo and visual identity. With the brand promise “Construction Made Easy”, it was important to keep things clean and uncomplicated.
We drew inspiration from the strong, hard materials expressed through Iron Maple’s name, including textures naturally found in wood. The four rings speak to both rings within a tree that signify life, age and growth; and the four iron rings of the founders, who are all engineers.
