The Scotiabank Centre is Halifax’s premier sports and entertainment facility. Home of the Halifax Mooseheads and top tier concerts and events, the venue has entertained Nova Scotians for over 35 years. In 2014, Scotiabank purchased naming rights to the facility, resulting in several upgrades including new chairs for the entire arena.
The Scotiabank Centre tapped Revolve to announce the new name and build excitement for the upgraded seats. In the first phase of the campaign, we gave the facility’s old orange seats a proper send off, treating them like retired sports celebrities.
In the campaign’s second phase, print ads and point of sale collateral informed the public of how the new seats’ features will make their experiences even better. And radio advertising imagined what it would be like if the new seats were a rookie sports team.
