Taste of Nova Scotia
Taste of Nova Scotia is a unique, province-wide marketing program, whose 150 members treat locals and visitors to the most exceptional culinary experiences our province has to offer. To kick-off the 2015 summer season, with a Tourism Nova Scotia focus on culinary experiences, the two organizations launched the Good Cheer Trail – Canada’s first winery, craft brewery and distillery adventure, providing visitors with a culinary roadmap – and engaged Revolve to brand and bring the trail to life with the appropriate marketing tools. We applied disruptive thinking to develop the logo, advertising campaign, printed passport and web app.
Inspired by the watermark left on a bar by a frosty pint of beer, the Good Cheer Trail logo serves double duty as a stamp itself, tying into the theme of the app and passport. And to get the word out, Revolve created a print campaign to introduce the Good Cheer Trail to Nova Scotians and visitors.

We flexed our digital muscles to design and develop an app that provides adventurers with a wealth of information and tools to guide them along the trail. Users of the Good Trail Cheer App can read profiles on participating partners and get directions via Google Maps. Once they’re within a kilometer of the destination, users can check-in to collect digital stamps, which can be redeemed for rewards. The app gives a summary of check-ins on the homepage, allows users to automatically share their check-ins on their social channels, and even post a custom Good Cheer Trail branded photo via the app’s photo generator feature.

For travelers who want to keep it old school, Revolve created the Good Cheer Trail Passport. A printed booklet featuring similar content to the app, adventurers can use the passport to collect stamps along their journey and redeem them for rewards.
