As the buying group for several hundred independently owned building supply and hardware stores across Canada, each TIMBER MART store authentically reflects the community it calls home. Revolve weaves these independent, family-owned businesses together under the TIMBER MART brand and developed the brand platform “Canada’s Building Centre”.
Whether in Western Canada, Central Canada or on the East Coast, “Canada’s Building Centre” celebrates TIMBER MART’s strength: satisfying the unique building and renovation material needs of communities across our country. Beyond offering the tools and supplies Canadians need to complete their projects, “Canada’s Building Centre” is also a promise to the communities TIMBER MART serves. It means showing up for the events Canadians care about and acting as a good neighbour in our communities and online.
To bring Canada’s Building Centres together online, we developed a website to share promotions as well as building plans for garages and sheds. It’s also where TIMBER MART shares neighbourly know-how such as project tips and inspiration. To foster this feeling of community, our strategy is to celebrate the successful projects of neighbours and customers across Canada by sharing user generated content on TIMBER MART’s Instagram and Facebook social channels.
As there are few things more Canadian than rallying behind our national sports teams, it’s important for Canada’s Building Centre to show Canadians in the bleachers and behind the glass that TIMBER MART shares their passion and enthusiasm. To do so – and convert some sports fans into TIMBER MART fans along the way – Revolve has negotiated and activated several sponsorships on TIMBER MART’s behalf, including NHL, Hockey Canada and the IIHF World Juniors, OHL, QMJHL and the CFL.
Because kindness is at the core of Canada’s identity, we also co-founded Timberkids, TIMBER MART’s national charitable foundation. Timberkids is committed to improving the health and well being of children in the communities where TIMBER MART stores are located.
We’re proud to continue to build “Canada’s Building Centre” while helping connect Canadians with their local, family-owned TIMBER MART.
